Consider these needs: A successful educational mentoring program that pairs high school students with younger learners is looking to expand into seven more school districts this year. An ordinance requiring a children's services agency to replace their badly deteriorating sidewalks has resulted in an unanticipated expense. Children who have a parent or family member with cancer need to understand the disease and its treatment. They also need a break to have fun. Together, there is something we can do... On November 24th, the foundation held its second annual community Thanksgiving dinner. With the generous support of family, friends and area business we were able to prepare and serve over 400 meals to those less fortunate.
